Germany is one of the biggest consumers of paper worldwide. To meet the German paper demand, primeval forests are deforested - for example in Indonesia and Canada. In the places where used to be natural forests are now economic forests. 33 kilograms of paper advertisements does every German receive to his postbox every year. But surveys show that 76% of the inhabitants do not want those advertisements.

Background

The goal of our initiative is to send a “no advertisement” sticker to every household in Germany. We unfortunately already got the feedback that a lot of the companies ignore the sticker and deliver the advertisement anyway. Due to that, we developed an app, in which the user can log those abuses. Furthermore, he can also deregister from any advertisement within the app, without the need for a sticker at all.

Design Process

Low-Fi Wireframes for planning the user and screen flow of the app.

First High-Fi version with the implementation of more detailed visual elements.

High-Fi Version after iteration. The goal was to keep the app simple and minimalistic but to still have our brand identifiable.
